One of the best things about the iPad are the free games that you can download on it. The iPad isn’t exactly the best gaming platform out there, but it’s nice to have free games to go along with your iPad that you take everywhere with you. There are both paid and free iPad games available in the apps marketplace. Some of the free iPad games do have ads in them, but they are still free to download and play.

Solitaire
Similar to the solitaire game that comes on almost every version of Windows, the iPad solitaire game is just as fun.

Bejeweled Blitz
Bejeweled is an all around great game and is very popular on just about every platform. With the iPad it is no exception, it’s one of the most played free iPad games.

Most people will download this free social networking app due to how often they use Facebook. This app allows you to send messages, update your status, and pretty much everything you can do on the full Facebook website. Best of all is that it is totally free to download and use.

CNN App for iPad
The CNN app is 100% free on the iPad and is definitely worth downloading. If you are a news junky, you  probably already have this installed. It automatically updates with all the latest news, videos, articles, and more from CNN.

Mint.com App – Personal Finance
Mint.com is an amazing and extremely useful website. It helps you to keep track of your finances and allows you to set goals for anything you want. Now they offer a free iPad app that allows you to easily do this and check up on your finances on your iPad.

AccuWeather iPad App
The AccuWeather app doesn’t do anything ultra amazing, but it is very useful. It allows you to check the weather and forecast in your current area. This is a great app because it is extremely useful on the go, just like the iPad is.

The Bloomberg iPad app is great for those that are into the stock market and investing. It has great charts and stock market info. Best part of all is that it is completely free for the market data and charts.

iPad 2 Features

No Comments, Free iPad Posts, by .

The iPad 2 has much better features than the first iPad. It has a faster processor, two cameras, longer battery life, a newer operating system, and a new flip over cover. The new processor is the dual core A5 processor. This allows the programs and new operating system on the iPad 2 to run much faster. The new operating system has over 200 new features in itself. Check out the official Apple website for all of the new features in the new operating system. The two new cameras are designed to be used with Apple’s new FaceTime program. The cameras can also record in HD quality. The battery life was also given a big boost to 10 hours.

The case of the iPad 2 was also revamped and made slimmer. The iPad 2 is only 1/3 of an inch thin and weights just over 1 pound. This makes the iPad 2 even easier to carry around wherever you go. Apple also added on a new cover that is built just for the iPad. It’s called the SmartCover and it magnetically attaches to the iPad 2 case. This way you can snap it on and off easily. The cover comes in many different colors and there is also an option to upgrade it to a leather iPad 2 cover.

Be sure to check out the official Apple website for more information and check out this website too for a free iPad 2 offer.

HP Touchpad Firesale

No Comments, Free iPad Posts, by .

Just a few months ago, HP decided to liquidate their entire stock of HP Touchpads. They decided to sell their 16 GB model for only $100 and their 32 GB model for $150. For those that don’t know, the HP Touchpad is HP’s version of the iPad. It has very similar features, looks, and functionality. The Touchpad also sold for around the same price as the iPad.

Due to the Touchpad’s weak sales, HP decided to exit the business and told all retails to liquidate any existing stock for the extremely low prices. This created an instance frenzy by consumers. Even those that weren’t interested in tablet computers were now interested in getting one because they were just $100. People flooded into retail stores like Walmart looking to snag one. Online websites were swamped with people trying to purchase them. Several websites were so swamped that they crashed, including the official HP website!

In the end, if you were lucky enough to snag one, you got an amazing deal. Although the HP Touchpad may not be as high quality as the Apple iPad, it at least comes close and at a fraction of the cost it is hard to pass up. Unfortunately, the deal is no longer available, but many of them showed up on eBay for around $200 to $250. So, eBay may be a good option if you are looking for an HP Touchpad, or if you are looking for a free Apple iPad, check out this website.

About the iPad

No Comments, Free iPad Posts, by .

The Apple iPad wasn’t the first ever tablet computer to hit the market, but it did make a huge splash when it first came out. It continued to grow in popularity after it’s release and created a whole new market for tablet computers.

Previously, tablet computers were not widely used. Most tablet computers before the iPad were laptop computers that also had a touch screen. Some of these early tablet computers also allowed you to flip the screen over on top of the keyboard.

The Apple iPad was different because it was much more portable and easier to pick up and take with you wherever you went. Additionally, Apple is widely known for the quality and sleek look of their products. The iPad basically looked like a large iPhone, which was already extremely popular at the time. The Apple iPad was so successful that Apple has now released a second version (iPad 2). Many other companies have also jumped into the market of small and portable tablet computers. Some of these other companies include Amazon, HP, Samsung, ASUS, and Dell. For many people, these tablet computers are a replacement for their bulky desktop computers.

One of the major selling points of the iPad is the apps. iPad users can download apps from the app market on their iPad. The apps include games, social networking programs, business programs, shopping apps, and lots more. The iPad also has loads of hardware add-ons including a wireless keyboard and various cases in different colors.

Today there are also ways to get a free iPad! Check out this site to learn more details.
